Beauty Outlet Haul

Hey!

I'm on a group on Facebook called 'The Beauty Collective' this group is where ladies post all different questions, suggestions, and anything else really! Since joining this group last year I have gained a lot of new make up, skin care and tips and tricks. It's great seeing other peoples opinions on brands and suggestions on how someone should get their hair cut, do their make up etc, people also do Facebook lives on their showing how they're doing their makeup before their night out, which is great to watch!

Last weekend I ordered myself a Stila Magnificent Metals Liquid eyeshadow in Diamond Dust, I got this from BeautyBay and I paid £23 for it. A couple of days later on The Beauty Collective Facebook page someone had posted that Beauty Outlet were selling them for £8! £8!!!!!!

Of course I had a look on Beauty Outlet to see what other makeup/skincare products they have. After a few clicks on the 'Add to basket' button I thought i'd better stop haha!

I ended up ordering;
1) Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Pore Minimiser CC cream - shade fair to light
2) Stila Shape and Shade custom contour duo - shade deep
3) W7 Candy blush - shade Scandal
4) NYX Cream Highlight and Contour Palette - shade medium
5) Still Stay all day 10 in 1HD bronzing beauty balm
6) W7 Prime Magic Anti redness primer
7) Stila Stay all day prime and anti shine balm
8) Stila Magnificent Metals Liquid Eyeshadow - Gold Goddess
9) W7 Bow to Brow eyebrow thickener - shade blonde
10) W7 Lemon Meringue anti redness eyelid primer

I'm yet to try any of these products but am excited to try them all out and will let you know if I have any favourites!

Do you have any make up products you recommend?

I definitely think I'm going to end up buying more of the Stila Liquid Eyeshadows, they are so pigmented and I will really dress your makeup up a little bit!

My Haircare Routine

Hey!

Today I'm going to be talking about how I look after my hair. I have always had blonde, long hair and I have been lucky enough to have never needed to dye it as it has different shades of blonde naturally in it. This is something I feel rather blessed about as it means I do not have to kill my hair by using bleach on it.🙏

I have to admit I do use heat on my hair but not too often, If I do straighten or curl my hair using heat I try to only do it once a week, sometimes not even that as I want to try and protect my hair as much as possible. I always use a heat protector spray when using heat on my hair, I have used all different brands of heat protectors since I started using heat, however my favourite is the Argan Oil heat defence leave in spray as it doesn't make my hair feel like its been fried once heats been used on it, it also makes it feel so smooth once it's been straightened.
I tend to use different shampoo's and conditioners but I go back to the John Frieda 'Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating' shampoo and conditioner once I've run out of the previous shampoo/conditioner. I find it makes my hair feel really healthy and it brings out the lighter blonde in my hair - which is also great seeing as I don't need to colour it!

Another holy grail product I try to use most of the time is Argan Oil, whether its just the oil or an Argan Oil condition, the conditioner is what I am currently using and it makes my hair feel sooo shiny and soft. (I have come to realise there is a common theme with me using Argan Oil, I just find it makes my hair feel so amazing!)

Once a week a like to use a hair mask, currently I have the Macadamia Oil Extract Hair Mask which I leave on my hair for 7 minutes then wash out.

Every so often after I've washed my hair I will use one of the following products; Lee Stafford Hair Growth, Lee Stafford Coco Loco Light Serum Spray or Lee Stafford Argan Oil. Usually I'm a bit dubious about products that claim they help grow your hair, however the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Serum really has seemed to have helped my hair grow! The other two serums also make my hair feel great, I can only describe them as once I've used them and my hair is down I can just feel it swishing, It makes me feel so fab and sassy!💁

I would definitely recommend your try any of these products as I rate them all!

Hopefully this post may intrigue you to purchase some new hair care products. I'd love to know of any other holy grail hair products you use, if you have any in particular let me know as I'd love to try out some new products!

My Blogging Goals for 2018!

Hey!

It's January, it's a new year and I'm more determined than ever to get my blog where I would like it to be. Therefore, I have a few goals I have set myself that I hope I'm going to stick this year (and many more hopefully!)

1) I would like to try and post at least twice a week. I already know this may be tricky as I have a full time job, am studying and I play badminton and go to the gym when I'm not working or sleeping, but I'm going to give it my best shot!

2) Following from my first goal, I would love to hit 1000 views on Blog, I am currently on 760 - which I am already amazed about!

3) I would like to use social media more, I am always on Twitter and Instagram but very rarely post or comment, so 2018 is going to be the year of change for me! So be expecting more tweets and cool Instagram photos!

4) Sticking with the social media side of things, I would love to reach 700 followers on Twitter, I know to some people this isn't loads but i'd be soooo happy!!

5) My last goal is to try and lose some weight, get toned, eat healthier and smash the gym! I am aiming to get a post up on the last day of every month updating you on my fitness journey, so this should get me motivated - plus I'm going on a couple of holidays this year so I've got something to aim for.

Do you have any goals you have set yourself for next year?

Hello 2018!

Hey!

So it's a New Year and I am ready to take my blog to new levels this year!

This post isn't a very long or exciting one, it's just me letting you know when I'm going to be posting from now on.

After having a week or so off blogging I have come up with lots of fun and exciting topics to post about in the next upcoming months - so stay tuned to see these! ;)

I have decided I am going to be posting from now on, on a Tuesday and Friday evening at 18:00 GMT. I have to be honest, my work hours change every week so if I forget to schedule a post, I apologise but it will definitely be up that night!🙈

Happy New Year and I'll be back Friday!
