Trip to London

Well it's a now only a week till Christmas, that's come round so fast!

On Sunday, my mum and dad took my sister and I up London for the day, we started off our day walking round Leicester Square, popping into M&M World as that's standard when you go up London, isn't it? Then we went to try and the find the Baileys pop up shop, which was near Covent Garden. Once we found the shop and queued for a while we went in, I couldn't decide what to have, there were so many options; Bailey's Latte, Bailey's Hot Chocolate, Bailey's Chocolate Hot Chocolate or a Bailey's Reindeer.

I decided to the Bailey's Hot Chocolate, you got to choose toppings to go on it too, on mine I had; a salted caramel macaroon, m&ms and crushed honeycomb. YUM! Where is was alcohol you had to show ID before ordering a drink, unfortunately my sister is 15 so she wasn't allowed to get one. She ate the heads of my mums chocolate reindeer though!

We walked down Regent Street for a bit before going for dinner, mum and dad had booked for us to go Planet Hollywood for dinner, my sister and I shared a pizza as we weren't very hungry, obviously there was space for dessert though! I had a Key Lime Pie which was very yummy and my sister had a milkshake - a pretty big one at that! When it arrived I called from the start she wouldn't be able to drink it all, could she? Nope! Me however, I smashed mine!😋

After dinner we walked more down Regent Street and ended up at the Palladium Theatre. There's a Pantomime going on there over Christmas, this year its Dick Whittington. You can imagine how many puns there were in the show can't you! The show was amazing and very very funny! I would definitely recommend seeing it if you can!

I had such a lovely time even though it poured down the majority of the day!

Top 7 Christmassy Makeup Products

I am going to try to post every Tuesday and Sunday from now on, so as its nearly Christmas every post in December will be Christmas themed, its only right to do so isn't it?!

Today's post is going to my 'Top 7 Christmassy Makeup Products' - Let's get started!

1) Estee Lauder, Double Wear Foundation

This is actually a fairly new buy for me, but I would not go back now! This foundation is so easy to apply, I wouldn't say you need much product but if you like to build your foundation up, this is good for it.

It has an SPF 10 which is great for your skin, not that we get much sun here! I got the shade 1C1 Cool Bone and it matches really well to my pale skin! I would definitely recommend this foundation if you're looking for something high coverage and long lasting!

2) Benefits Ka-Brow!

I've been using Benefit's Ka-Brow for a while now and I love it, I feel like you can get a really good shape using the small angled brush - Nicely shaped eyebrows is always a must - ESPECIALLY at Christmas time!! I got the this product in the shade '1' and it matches my brows fairly well.

3) Clinique, Chubby Stick

I prefer a cream contour, the Clinique Chubby Stick works wonders for me! Obviously contour is key, to get those chizzled cheek bones! I think this product comes in one shade, which is 01 curvy contour,

4) Highlight -  Two Faced, Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette

Yes, you read correctly, an eyeshadow palette?! Uhuh, thats right! I use the Champagne Truffle shade to do my highlight and IT. MAKES. ME. GLOW!

5) Barry M Glitter

You can't go to your Christmas party without having a bit of glitter on your eyelids! I use the Barry M glitters and I have accumulated many colours now!

6) Kiko Lipstick

Christmas is all about the red lip isn't it. I have many a red lippy, but my favourite for this time of year is one from Kiko, I think its the shade 509. It's just a bright, creamy red that actually lasts a long time. Usually wearing red can be a pain in the bottom because you have to keep reapplying it but this lipstick seems to stay for a good few hours!

7) Rimmel London, Insta FIX and GO

This is a 2 in 1 primer and setting spray, I got this in one of my Birch Box's and now use it every time I do a full face of makeup or am going out for the day/night. Using this setting spray makes my make up stay in place all night so this will be perfect for your Christmas Parties, when you're dancing your feet you!

Where am I now?

So, it has been over two years since I last posted on here...oops🙈. Two years is quite a long time, time for me to grow up, become an adult and start working full time. Scary ay!

In my last post I mentioned my Sixth Form - that's over and done with now... Whilst I was at college I started a weekend job as a lifeguard, as much as I loved the job and the people who came in, it took over my weekend as I was working both saturday and sunday every weekend! It got very frustrating in the summer, when all my family and friends were out and about but I was working in a sweaty, hot pool! I worked here for 2 years whilst I was at sixth form.. then Sixth Form finished and I needed to find a full time job.

I decided I didn't want to go to University so I didn't apply, instead I applied for a job as an administrator and then another job as a trainee dental nurse - where I would get the qualification as I work. I had an interview at both places, and got the job at the dental practise first, which I was thrilled about!

I have now been working at the practise for just over a year and I love it, the girls I work with are lovely and we have fun and lots of giggles!

So, here's my update and where I am now.

What do you get up to? Are you working?
